Mobile home

Am I allowed to invite family or friends to the mobile home? If so, is there a charge?

You can invite guests to your mobile home free of charge, but they will not be able to sleep in the mobile home or use the swimming pool. Please inform reception of their presence as soon as they arrive at the campsite.

Can I put a tent next to the mobile home?

You can’t pitch a tent next to the mobile home, but dedicated pitches are available for booking.

Do I have to pay a deposit at the time of installation?

You will be asked to pay a deposit for your mobile home and its cleaning; this can be done by cheque or directly by card via our application. The deposit will be held for the duration of your stay, but will not be debited, provided that no damage has been noted at the time of your departure and that the cleaning instructions have been followed.

Do you offer cleaning packages?

We offer cleaning packages to make your departure easier. The package price is €68 for a two-bedroom mobile home, €78 for a three-bedroom and €98 for a four-bedroom.

What time should I return my mobile home?

Departures must be made no later than 10:00 a.m., after you have made your check-out appointment with one of our receptionists.

Is the mobile home equipped with a television?

All our mobile homes have television.

Do babies count towards the accommodation’s capacity?

Yes, babies are included in the accommodation capacity. The number of people indicated by the rental must not be exceeded, for safety and insurance reasons.

Location

What time must I vacate my camping pitch?

Campsites must be vacated by 12.00 pm.

What kind of electrical outlets are available on the pitches?

Our pitches are equipped with a 9-amp electrical connection. Don’t forget to bring a European adapter so you can benefit from electricity.

Is it possible to rent a fridge for campers?

A service provider is present directly on our campsite so that you can rent refrigerators. You can book in advance by contacting our service provider directly by e-mail: locationbrousta@gmail.com

Are water and electricity included in the price of the pitch?

Absolutely, no extra charge for water and electricity.

Is it possible to empty the toilet on site?

You can empty your wastewater directly into the chemical toilets provided.

At the campsite

Do I need to make an appointment for the rental departure?

A check-out appointment must be made at reception in order to agree on a departure time: someone will go through your mobile home to check that no damage has been caused and that cleaning has been carried out. At the end of the appointment, your deposit will be returned to you.

Is there a launderette on the campsite?

Laundry facilities are available at our campsite. A washing machine costs €5 and a tumble dryer €3.

Are barbecues allowed on the campsite?

Private planchas and barbecues are not allowed on our campsite, but we do have communal barbecue areas. You can bring your own barbecue grill, or rent one from our on-site rental company.

Is there wifi in the campsite?

Wi-Fi is available via the “Camping Lou Broustaricq” access. By clicking on it, you will be automatically redirected to our service provider’s page, where you can choose your package and pay online.

Is wearing a bracelet compulsory?

Wearing a wristband is compulsory, and checks will be carried out regularly.

What are the arrival and departure times?

You can access your pitch from 2pm and your mobile home from 4pm.
Departures are until 10am for mobile homes and 12am for pitches.

What to do if you arrive late?

Arriving after reception opening hours? Don’t worry, we’ll leave an envelope with your name on it, containing the keys and a map to your mobile home. Don’t forget to call at reception the next morning to finalize your arrival.

Are there any shops on the campsite?

Our campsite has a restaurant, snack bar, bar, grocery store and wellness area. Schedules are available from reception or directly from our service providers.

Are animations included?

A team of a dozen entertainers will offer you a varied program during the summer season. Outside this period (e.g. Easter school vacations, Ascension weekend, etc.), please contact us to find out about any programs that may be available!

What does the Cancellation Guarantee cover?

The Cancellation Guarantee mainly covers serious illness, death or accident. You can find out more by consulting the terms and conditions or by contacting reception directly.

Is it possible to rent a baby cot or high chair?

A service provider is on site at the campsite to rent out baby kits (high chairs, cots, bathtubs available). You can book in advance by contacting our service provider by e-mail: locationbrousta@gmail.com

Are sheets and towels provided?

New for 2023 We offer you the Comfort Pack option! It includes: sheets and towels, as well as 30min access to the SPA (adults only) and the possibility of leaving until 12 noon.

We are VACAF approved. To help us calculate and apply your rights, please contact us directly at 05 58 82 74 82.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payment by card, cheque, cash and vacation vouchers.

Can I pay in instalments?

It is possible to pay in instalments. Please contact us for details. The important thing is to send us the full balance of your stay no later than 30 days before the start of your stay.

When do I have to pay the balance of my reservation?

An initial deposit must be paid within 8 days of the booking request. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of your stay.

How do I cancel a reservation?

Please contact Cancellation Insurance directly at contact.gestion@assur-travel.fr or 03 20 30 74 12.

Is my pet allowed in the rental? Under what conditions?

Pets are allowed. Remember to bring their up-to-date vaccination records with you when you arrive at the campsite! Category 1 and 2 dogs are not allowed on the campsite premises.

Aquatic area

Is the pool heated?

All indoor and outdoor pools are heated to around 28°C.

Are swimming shorts allowed?

For reasons of hygiene, swimming shorts are not permitted in the entire water park.

Do visitors have access to the campsite swimming pool?

Guests do not have access to the water park, but can enjoy the restaurant and bar.

Getting around

How late can I drive into the campsite?

The accommodation area is accessible via automatic gates from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Outside these times, cars are not allowed on the campsite.

Is it possible to rent bicycles on site?

Our campsite has a bicycle rental service. You’ll also find maps for your walks at reception, or log on to the “Bisca Grands Lacs” Tourist Office website to calculate your itineraries.

Where’s the nearest beach?

For one of the most popular beaches in the Landes region, head for Biscarrosse-Plage! The ocean is just 23km from the campsite.

How far are we from Biscarrosse?

Biscarrosse-Bourg and its amenities are around 16km away. For Biscarrosse-Plage, count 23km.

How far are we from Arcachon?

An essential part of your vacation, the Bassin d’Arcachon is about 30 minutes away. Beware of traffic jams in high season, though, so it’s best to get there early in the day!

How far are we from Bordeaux?

Bordeaux, with all its amenities, is about an hour’s drive away. Traffic jams are frequent in the vicinity of the city, so journey times can be lengthened.

How far is the campsite from the nearest shops?

Your nearest supermarket is in Sanguinet, a ten-minute drive away. For more choice, head for the Biscarrosse-Bourg hypermarket, just over 15km away.

How far are we from Lac de Sanguinet on foot?

It doesn’t get much closer than that! With our direct access, you’re just a minute’s walk from the serenity of the lake.

Are there any cycle paths near the campsite?

There are plenty of cycle paths around the campsite, with something for everyone. Visit https://biscagrandslacs.loopi-velo.fr/velo for more information!

Where’s the nearest bus station?

The nearest train station is La Teste-de-Buch, a twenty-minute drive away.

How far are you from the nearest airport?

Bordeaux airport is the closest to the campsite, with a journey time of around one hour. If you have a plane to catch, you’ll need to watch out for traffic jams, which are frequent at the height of summer, so it’s best to leave early!

Where can I find an ATM?

You’ll find an ATM less than 3km from the campsite, at Place de la Mairie in Sanguinet.
